I built Luxcompass as the practice I wished existed when I needed it most.
For fifteen years I worked at the sharp end of digital transformation: ERP migrations, factory systems, the kind of high-stakes projects where the pressure is constant and the pace never really stops. I was good at it, and it cost me. Burnout arrived the way it usually does: slowly, then all at once. Around the same time a role ended and a long relationship ended, and I found myself without the structures I'd been holding onto.
What put things back in a different order wasn't another framework. It was the sea. Sailing calms my body and quiets my mind, and it wakes up something older in me: the part that's willing to set out without knowing exactly where the coast is. Between passages, I did the unglamorous inner work too: two Vipassana retreats, months of radical honesty, family constellation work, the Hero's Journey, mindful self-compassion. Not as a collection of certificates, but because I needed them.
Out of that came this. I trained properly: breathwork, hypnosis coaching, change work, mediation. But the training isn't the point. The point is that I've been in the fog, and I know the difference between someone who's read about it and someone who's stood in it. If you're in the fog right now, that's the ground I work from.
How I work
Small by design, slow by intention. One person from your first message to your last. The containers are clear, a session, a programme, a week at sea, but what happens inside them is shaped around what you actually need, not a fixed script.
